What you'll learn

Curriculum (GMT+7)

The live classes would be conducted online! The teacher will do video conference with students in our online classroom. You only need either a mobile phone, an iPad or a computer with webcam/mic to attend the lesson.

Lesson 1: Introduction to Public Speaking

Title: Building Confidence and Overcoming Nervousness

Objectives:
1. Understand the importance of effective public speaking skills.
2. Learn techniques to manage nervousness and build self-confidence.
3. Explore strategies to engage the audience from the start.

Activities:
1. Group discussion: Share personal experiences of nervousness while speaking in public.
2. Interactive Practice: Practice positive self-talk and visualization exercises together.
3. Role-play: Deliver short opening statements using different engagement techniques.

Grammar Focus: Modal verbs (can, should, must) used to indicate possibility, urgency, or necessity.


Lesson 2: Structuring a Persuasive Presentation
