關於我: I am a former English and English Composition teacher. I taught at the Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. People find it interesting that one of my students was the future president of the United States, Barack Obama. I think I helped him with his writing skills. I also did some teaching when I was in graduate school at UCLA, and I have done a great deal of informal teaching throughout my career as a consultant.

I have developed a number of enjoyable techniques to work with people to develop their writing skills. Through my psychology training, I can also help students identify any disabilities, anxieties, etc. that they may have when it comes to writing. I think I can help make writing fun and enjoyable. I actually had a disability of my own when it came to reading and writing, which I overcame through my techniques. It led to my winning the English award when I was in high school and writing my doctoral dissertation in one draft!

I am very student-centered in my approach. I first find out a student's likes and dislikes about English and writing, and then we develop a plan together.
