About Me: I am a graduate and registered teacher from Jamaica, currently working and living in Hong Kong. I have over 4 years of teaching English as a second language and for academic purposes. I have taught English in my native country Jamaica and on mainland China, as well as online. My main guiding principle is embodied in the acronym HOPE, which means, help our people excel. Aside from possessing extensive pedagogical knowledge, I would consider my approach to teaching as very fluid in nature. I am inspired by different situations and people, these inspirations has helped shaped. I have a deep love for the creative arts, so my lessons are always fun, engaging and informative. Naturally I am outgoing, passionate about my craft and love my students. The English language has so much to offer and I love to explore its many nuances with my students. However, English is not the only discipline I am verse in, I have also taught History and Social Studies. This shows that I am a very well rounded and experienced teacher.
