- Hello! My name is Chaya Bluma. You are welcome to call me CB. If you are looking for an experienced, TESOL-certified teacher, I look forward to meeting you!
In my classroom, the student is the center of attention. My role is to encourage and support each learner. Together we'll work to improve your ability to express yourself in English more clearly and fluently.
I offer a range of courses. In each session, we can focus on pronunciation, reading and listening comprehension or conversation. I am happy to teach any level of learners from beginners to professional adults. Please share your goals with me. First, I will assist you in internalizing what you already know. We will build from there and the sky's the limit!
I was born and raised in the USA and have a neutral accent. I earned a BA from Rice University. I have lived in Israel for over twenty years. I know first-hand the process of successfully learning a foreign language. For over two decades, I worked in hi-tech companies and bring all of my business experience to the classroom.
As a business English coach, I met with individual Korean adults over a period of months to advance their professional goals. I chose and curated a selection of written and audio content to suit each client’s preferences and objectives. For you too, I will create meetings which will strengthen your capabilities to communicate effectively and confidently.
For the past two years, I have been working as an EFL teacher to Chinese children on-line. I enjoy helping each pupil progress. Each session is tailored to suit the specific student's aptitudes and needs. I enjoy using technology to connect with and to motivate my students. I maintain an enjoyable and empowering learning environment through humor, prop usage and TPR. I utilize digital aids such as ManyCam, multi-media Google Slides and Kahoot! quizzes to enrich student’s experience and heighten motivation.
