About Me: Hello! My name is Christianna and I am a CELTA qualified English teacher. I am Greek with some Scottish background, as I have ancestors/family from there. My teaching career started two years ago in summer schools in the UK and continued in Spain. I have lived, studied and worked in both places and it has been a great experience in my life that showed me how teaching can touch people’s lives. I love teaching English because it creates some beautiful connections with people from different places and cultures. I believe that learning languages is a life skill and an activity that keeps people mentally active and always brings positive outcomes. I am also a keen enthusiast of the outdoors, sports and exercise, hiking and scuba diving. I truly believe that a healhty brain needs a healthy body.

I am an enthusiastic teacher and I always try to find ways to help my students. My biggest motivation is to get into their shoes and understand the difficulties in order to better help them. I am very flexible and I have experience working with toddlers, children, juniors and adults in many levels. The most important aspect for me is understanding the needs of my students and then delivering as appropriate. I do believe that teaching is not only about gaining knowledge but a holistical approach towards self formation.
