About Me: I have been teaching English as an ESL teacher for over six years now, after obtaining my TEFL certificate in 2015.
I began by teaching at summer schools in the United Kingdom, before moving to Italy and teaching in a language school there. I have also taught at an independent language school in Spain.
In 2018, I began teaching school age students online from China, Hong Kong and Macau and I have been teaching young students online since.
I also have previous experience teaching adults from beginners to an advanced level. Having taught for several years in both an online and offline capacity, I have experience with the Cambridge exams (at KET, PET and FCE levels) as well as helping younger students with their Cambridge Young Learners exams.

My Teaching Style: -I will always plan my lessons with two goals in mind, to achieve the learning objective and for the student to be engaged in the class!
-My lessons will also be structured no matter what the age or level. I will have an introduction activity, followed by the main lesson point and then an engaging activity at the end to get the student learning today's grammar or vocabulary in their speaking and/or writing.
_ My teaching style is not to give the student's answers but to guide them there until they reach a 'eureka' moment!
-I will always try to provide a balance of reading, listening, speaking and writing in my lessons, so students can build up all their English skills and use them in tandem.
-My lessons are designed to get students to remember, remember, remember. If a student doesn't master the aim, we will continue to practice it until they are so good at it that they could be teaching me!
- The key to teaching for me is assessing growth. Everybody learns and grows at different paces, any small step is growth!
- I am a stickler for classroom rules, a learner will always be at their best if they are in a good learning environment that is free from noise and other distractions. Little Bobby will not be able to speak and engage with a mouth full of food in a noisy restaurant!
