About Me: * I hold two BA degrees, a BA (Honours) degree in Psychology and a BA degree in
Psychology and Anthropology.

* I have 11 years of English teaching experience. I taught EFL in South East Asia for 5
years, other subjects for 1 year in the UK and ESL for 6 years online.

* I have taught over 10000 lessons online for a renowned school in South East Asia and
taught for quite a few other online schools, as well as holding private lessons.

* I have experience teaching both 1-on-1 and group lessons.

* I have successfully improved many students' English skills.

* I have taught many students from not being able to say a word of English to being able
to have a proper conversation.

* I have taught many students how to read.

* I teach young learners from the age of 5 - 15, but do make exceptions for slightly
younger or older students.

* I have travelled to several countries in South East Asia, including Hong Kong many
times, Africa and lived in Taiwan and the UK. I believe my travelling experience has
gained inside to other cultures which enables me to connect with my students more easily.

My Teaching Style: * I believe that students retain more information when they are having fun when they first
learn something new, so I like to provide an entertaining and stimulating environment
for them to learn in.

* I adapt my lessons to the personality and needs of the student.

* I use props, realia, fluffy toys, toys, puppets and flashcards during my lessons.

* I like to have reward systems to boost my student's confidence during our lessons.

* I like to maintain a friendly and fun environment to stimulate my students' interest in
learning English.

* I allow my students to use the writing tool in order to complete various activities.

* I like to include games and activities related to the subject of the lesson in order to
boost their confidence and help them to stay engaged throughout the lesson.

* I focus on pronunciation and teach reading comprehension, conversation, grammar and
phonics.
