About Me: - Tennis Coach for Faversham Tennis Club: Achieved Level 1 Coaching Qualification.
- Taught English as a Foreign Language in Peru for six months during Professional training Year at University.
- Successfully completed a TEFL module and a 100 hour TEFL course.
- Since then I have been teaching English online for a year and a half working mostly with adults from French speaking countries.
- These varied teaching roles have allowed me to develop the skills necessary to be an online TEFL tutor.
- I have improved my ability to teach online as well as in person, my leadership and authority skills have both improved as I have been given more and more responsibility over lesson plans and larger groups.
- Having worked with such a diverse range of people I have developed various techniques to fulfil the range of needs of students of all age groups and abilities.

My Teaching Style: - My teaching style relies on five basic principles:
- Self discipline: I encourage the development of this skill because learning a language requires a great deal of practise and attending a one hour lesson every week will not be enough to learn a language effectively. It is crucial to practise talking with a English speaker in your free time and complete exercises set by teachers in order to improve .
- Self-esteem: I value the importance of creating a relaxed learning environment where student feel able to take risks and make mistakes. This is crucial in order to develop new skills whilst learning a language, so I ensure I create a non-judgmental setting in order for students to thrive and improve their self-esteem.
- Leadership: I make a concerted effort to create a professional relationship with students. I do this by setting a good example and being reliable so that students have confidence in me to provide them with the skills to learn English.
- Creative: Making lessons interesting, varied and relevant each week keeps students engaged and allows them to learn whilst having fun and enjoying the process.
- Participation: I also encourage active participation in lessons because I believe that active learning is the best way for students to remember new information and rules about a language.
