About Me: Hi!
Background: I come from the land down under. In case you're wondering where the heck that is, it's another way of saying Australia. I have taught for schools in Thailand, Kuwait, Myanmar and China and worked in some of the most fantastic schools in the world.
Teaching style: Why do they call it "Down Under"? would be an excellent question and a good example of my teaching style. I like to dissect"" words or phrases and find out how or why they got their names. I also encourage students to ask questions starting with simple games and activities that are designed to help you learn but also remember new words and what they mean. Then move steadily onto basic sentence construction and grammatical tenses the complexities and contradictory nature of the English language. We'll practice pronunciation through word games, build vocabulary and improve your confidence in speaking.
Tutoring experience: I have tutored privately for clients usually at their homes for many years in Thailand and it wasn't until I moved to China in 2016 that I began teaching online.
Specialties: Working with students on acquiring/improving their proof reading, writing, commentary analysis, public speaking or presentation and debating skills.
