- About Me
- My name is Hannah Galloway and I am a confident and friendly 25 year old Psychology Masters graduate and Assistant Psychologist. I'm from England, Birmingham in the UK and I'm currently working as an online tutor. I am a qualified TEFL teacher with 2 years experience tutoring English, Maths and Psychology between the ages of 3 and 23. I’ve worked with various curriculums and I have worked with students for up to 52 weeks. I have received consistent 5 star reviews and excellent feedback on Tutor Hunt. My students have gone on to achieve brilliant results with a 100% pass rate. One of my passions is teaching children, I love seeing a student progress and helping them achieve their goals. My most important teaching method consists of tailoring to the needs of every child. Each student has a different learning style, whether it be visual, kinesthetic or auditory - it’s important to cater to each individual. I also place special effort in building a rapport with each student so the individual feels happy and comfortable. I like to use colourful props, lots of positive energy and exciting reward charts to keep the classes stimulating and engaging. I believe the student should be the main voice of each lesson so their English can flourish.
My hobbies are fitness and nutrition, I regularly enjoy yoga and eating healthily! I believe eating well creates a nourished mind, especially for learning and teaching! I also love travelling and learning about different cultures. Recently I went skiing in Austria and was an ambassador for a school on a skiing trip. This was an incredible experience. I loved getting to know the children from the school and organising their events! I also enjoy getting creative drawing, painting and making new props for different lessons!
