Description

I have developed this course to help children improve their fluency in English.

Speaking skills: The group lessons have one to four students in order to get plenty of opportunities to speak and share their ideas on familiar and interesting topics. At the end of every class, we will practice conversations to help develop fluency.

Grammar skills: Grammar is incorporated into every lesson. Children will practice using grammar in natural conversation as well as in-class exercises.

Vocabulary and pronunciation: I have a neutral English accent and will correct any pronunciation errors. In every lesson we will learn some more advance vocabulary which is related to many exams and academic topics. This vocabulary will be taught in a logical way, first looking at definitions, then how they work in a sentence, followed by seeing the words in context in reading, and finally giving the student opportunities to use the new vocabulary in their spoken and written answers.

Writing skills: At the end of some of the lessons, children will plan or write opinion essays comparable to the essays required in the Cambridge exams or the IELTS exams.
